The Borneo bird watching is also a truly immersive experience to have.

Here we will discuss a little about the exciting headhunters’ trail and trekking in Borneo.

The headhunters trail is a great way in the jungle connecting Gunung Mulu National Park with Limbang. Your travel starts with a boat journey from the park to Kuala Berar. Next, you would have to trek for about 3 hours to reach camp 5. Then trek for about 5 hours through the 11.3 km trail to reach Kuala Terikan. There you can either rest and spend the night or travel for about 4 hours by longboat to reach the Rumah Bala Lesong longhouse. Overnight stay at your accommodation unit and continue the journey by boat downriver to Nanga Medamit, from where you can travel by road to Limbang.

You can use the reverse path (from Limbang to Gunung Mulu Park) to cover the travel through the trail. On the way, you will have an amazing experience of an excellent trek combined with introduction to rivers, rainforests, species-rich flora & fauna and all-natural environment.
